Middlesbrough's Argentinian defender Julio Arca will take his first steps on the comeback trail by playing in a reserve match at Blackburn.

The 25-year-old Argentinian full-back broke his foot during his competitive debut for Middlesbrough at Reading on the opening day of the season.

Arca is included in a strong line-up for the match against Rovers at Ewood Park in which £6million signing Robert Huth will hope to put himself in contention for a first Barclays Premiership start for Boro against Everton on October 14.
