Ehiogu Moves To Leeds

Leeds have completed the loan signing of Middlesbrough defender Ugo Ehiogu. The 34-year-old centre-half, who has agreed to an initial one-month spell at Elland Road until January 1, will go straight into Leeds' squad for the trip to Plymouth.

Manager Dennis Wise has already moved to strengthen his defence by recently drafting in fellow central defender Matt Heath from Coventry.
Ehiogu, a club record £8million signing for Middlesbrough when he arrived from Aston Villa in 2000, has not appeared for Gareth Southgate's side this season.
Leeds beat off the challenge of several Championship clubs, including Barnsley, to land Ehiogu, who will provide competition for Heath, Matt Kilgallon and Hayden Foxe at the heart of their defence.
Wise has also signed Barnet striker Tresor Kandol on loan until January, with a view to a permanent move.
Kandol has been in superb form for the Bees this term, hitting 13 goals in 17 matches, and his displays have convinced Wise to take a chance.
Barnet turned down a £150,000 bid from Brighton for Kandol in August, and chairman Tony Kleanthous revealed: "In the end, Tresor felt the opportunity was too good to turn down, and I reluctantly had to agree that it could be in his best interests."
Kandol, 25, added: "I am very sorry to be leaving Underhill, but I am sure the fans will appreciate that this is a good career move at my age."
If he impresses at Elland Road, Kandol could complete a permanent switch when the transfer window re-opens at the turn of the year.
