Middlesbrough defender Chris Riggott has warned Jonathan Woodgate and Robert Huth they have a fight on their hands to displace him.

The 26-year-old returned to the starting line-up after ankle ligament and hamstring injuries at Hull at the weekend, with Woodgate sidelined by a knee problem.
However, he did so against the backdrop of speculation that he could be on his way out of the Riverside Stadium this month four years after his arrival.
Woodgate and Austrian Emanuel Pogatetz have formed a formidable central defensive partnership in recent months with £6million signing Huth recovering from a foot problem.
However, Riggott - who established himself as current manager Gareth Southgate's partner in the heart of Boro's defence last season - has vowed to stay and fight for his place.
He explained: "This season has been really frustrating.
"Naturally, any player wants to play, but I have got no problems with the two centre-halves, they have been playing well.
"It is just up to me to fight for my place and play well when I get the chance.
"I am happy at the club and happy to fight for my place, that is the be-all and end-all.
"There is competition for places. That is what the manager wanted and we have got that, and I am happy to compete for it."
Southgate will hope to increase competition for places in attack during the transfer window, and that means he will do his best to resist any approach for striker Mark Viduka.
The 31-year-old, who interested Newcastle last summer, has been repeatedly linked with a move away from Teesside this month with West Ham the most persistent suggested destination.
Viduka's classy finish in Saturday's 1-1 draw at the KC Stadium demonstrated just why Southgate is so keen to hang on to the Australian, and he once again expressed his determination to retain his services after the final whistle.
Riggott agrees with his manager's viewpoint, adding: "Mark Viduka is massively important to us.
"It is not my decision who comes in and who goes out, but we all know how good a player he is.
"It is important for any club to hold on to their best players and Mark is no different."
Southgate's recruitment drive is likely to be limited, and the departures of the likes of Massimo Maccarone and Fabio Rochemback seem certain to have an influence on what scope he will have to improve the squad.
Several names have been touted as targets, including West Brom midfielder Zoltan Gera.
Reports from Hungary suggest the Teessiders are close to agreeing a deal for the 27-year-old, although Southgate has previously played down suggestions of a firm bid.
It is understood any arrangement could involve swap or loan deals or both with Boro unlikely to meet the Baggies' £3million cash valuation.
In the meantime, Riggott and his team-mates will head for struggling Charlton at the weekend determined to increase the Londoners' woes by continuing their own improvement.
The defender said: "We know Charlton is a big, big game. We need to beat the teams around us.
"But if we can keep playing like we did in spells at Hull, I am sure we will soon shoot up the league."
