West Ham manager Alan Curbishley has agreed with criticism of Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate's selection policy ahead of the sides' crucial relegation clash on Saturday.

Neil Warnock, Sheffield United's manager, severely rapped Southgate's decision to field a weakened side against City and Curbishley has echoed his views.
He told West Ham's official website: "Everyone down the bottom (of the Barclays Premiership) is disappointed at what happened against Manchester City.
"It is not just the result, but when you do rest players and don't get the result it is a double whammy.
"At Charlton around this time of the season we were usually in a healthy league position and had never taken it for granted.
"When we played teams that were involved in relegation battles we put our strongest side out so that no-one could look at us and criticise."
"It may not have had anything to do with the result but Neil Warnock has had his say and obviously it is a situation where we are all looking at other people's results now.
"You think perhaps if Viduka and Woodgate had played it would have been a different result but you can't say."
Curbishley is not, however, expecting any pleasant surprises when he reads the Boro teamsheet on Saturday.
"We will have to see what Boro's side is when they play us," he continued. "I should imagine that he (Southgate) will be picking from his fullest squad because there has been a lot of criticism of their team selection against Manchester City.
"So I'm sure they are not going to do that again."
Curbishley is expecting a tough encounter for his side, who still have to face Chelsea, Arsenal, Bolton and Manchester United before the end of the season.
He said: "I think Middlesbrough are a very steady team. They sign experienced players, people who have been around and been there and done it.
"They started off the season not too well and had a bit of a wobble but their senior players' experience has shown and has pulled them through."
Curbishley also admitted he is delighted to be going into the Middlesbrough game on the back of an important, if controversial win at Blackburn - only the second of his 13 Premiership games in charge.
He said: "It was a great result for us up at Blackburn. I think we are always left wondering if this would have happened and that would have happened, but if we could have held on against Spurs, (six days earlier) it would have been a really interesting week.
"Nevertheless, it has given us a shout. The players must have some more confidence after the (Blackburn) result and we are all looking forward to the Middlesbrough game."
