Aliadiere Targets Top Six For Boro

Middlesbrough's new striker Jeremie Aliadiere reckons his new side are good enough to challenge for a European spot this season. The Frenchman is used to high expectations from his time at Arsenal and the 24-year-old is already setting targets for Boro.

He told the Gazette: "We've got a target to do as well as we can and I think with the squad we've got we can do well. "We would like to finish as high as we can - top six, top seven - and maybe challenge for Europe and that's what we want to do. "We just want to play good football and do as well as we can - we'll take it game by game."
