Day Four

2200: Phil Mickelson is the clear 7/4 favourite at Bet365 heading towards the end of his front nine but he just can't shake off veteran Fred Couples. As Mickelson got to five under and into the lead on his own, Couples followed him in on the sevent hole. He can be backed at 4/1 second favourite. Chad Campbell and Vijay Singh are one back and 6/1 and 7/1 respectively. Tiger Woods is three off the pace and a 10/1 chance.

2100: Tiger Woods trails by one shot and is the 7/4 favourite at Bet365.Phil Mickelson has the advantage by one shot with Fred Couples and Miguel Jimenez. The left-hander is 11/4 second favourite while Couples and Jimenez are chalked up at 6/1 and 8/1 respectively.

2000: The early mover in the fourth round has been Jose Maria Olazabal, who got to three under par for his round, one under in total, after five holes. He trades at 66/1 with Bet365 after dropping a shot at the sixth. Compatriot Miguel Angel Jimenez has also made a quick start and is within one of the lead - he can be backed at 16/1. Phil Mickelson remains favourite at 2/1.

1700: The third round of the US Masters has now finished and Phil Mickelson will take a one-shot lead into the final 18 holes later this evening. Lefty is four-under and shading Tiger Woods (-2) for favouritism at 9/4. World number one Woods gets a 3/1 quote. Vijay Singh (-2) comes next at 9/1 while Fred Couples (-3), who will play in the final group with Mickelson, is 14/1. Chad Campbell (-3) is 14/1, Retief Goosen (-1) is 16/1 and it's 20/1 bar which brings in Ulsterman Darren Clarke (-2).

1600: Players are jockeying for position ahead of the fourth round and Phil Mickelson is the 2/1 favourite with Bet365 having dropped a shot on his 18th hole. He stands at four under. Tiger Woods is just two behind and he rates a 5/2 chance.

It is 7/1 bar which brings in Vijay Singh with Rocco Mediate a 12/1 shot. The latter is currently tied with Mickelson.

1500: A string of three bogeys on the trot has seen Tiger Woods drop from four under to one under towards the end of his third round. The world number one is now out to 6/1 but only trails the lead by four shots. Phil Mickelson (-4) is the 2/1 favourite with leader Tim Clark a 5/1 chance. An eagle by Darren Clarke on the 13th has hauled him to within one of the lead and he rates a 9/1 chance at this stage.

1400: Tiger Woods is the clear 6/4 favourite with Bet365. He has moved to four under par after a birdie on the par five 13th and stands two shots behind leader Tim Clark. The latter is a 5/1 chance with Phil Mickelson sandwiching the pair on 3/1. 'Lefty' is three under as the delayed third round continues.

1300: South African Tim Clark has been the early mover after the rain-delayed third round of the US Masters resumed at Augusta. He birdied the par three sixth - his first hole of the day - to move into a share of the lead on six-under with Chad Campbell. And that saw him cut into a top-priced 15/2 behind Tiger Woods on 5/2 and Phil Mickelson and Campbell on 11/2. Rocco Mediate also started with a birdie to make it a three-way battle at the top but he's still available at 20/1.

1200: The big two of Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson head the betting on the US Masters going into the final day - just as they did at the start of the tournament. The prices are remarkably similar - world number one Woods a general 5/2 chance while last week's runaway BellSouth Classic winner Mickelson is on the 11/2 mark. But all the leading players have a marathon Sunday in prospect after rain washed out most of Saturday's play.
