The World Snooker Championships commence this Saturday with Ronnie O'Sullivan predictably top-priced at a general 3/1.

Reigning champion, Shaun Murphy, is a best price of 6.8/1 whilst seven-times winner, Stephen Hendry, is available at 10/1 with Ladbrokes.

Last season's runner up, Matthew Stevens is generally available at 16/1.

The winning nationality market also looks an interesting one with the home nations unsurprisingly dominant. England are 8/11 favourites (Betfred), with Scotland 2/1 (VC Bet) and Wales 5/1 (Betfred & VC Bet).
