Preston travel down to the south coast this weekend to take on a Plymouth side desperate for points in there fight against relegation.....

As for Preston we need the points for totally opposite reasons, to maintain our push for a play-off place.

Preston will be making the trip full of confidence on the back of picking up fourteen points from a possible eighteen, which has included impressive wins against West Ham, Sunderland and Reading and resulted in eleven goals.

Preston manager Billy Davies is also in the envious position of having a couple of selection headaches, with the new signings of Nugent, Hill, Agyemang and Sedgewick, and most of his current squad fit, with only long term absentees Marlon Broomes and Tyrone Mears not available, although Mears did come through a reserve match yesterday afternoon playing 66 mins before being substituted, and could well figure in the next couple of weeks.

Off the field things are going well too with club captain Chris Lucketti signing a 1 year contract extension, and winger Eddie Lewis close to signing his new deal.

So with all things looking good at the club lets hope the lads bring home 3 more points on Saturday
