McCormack signs new deal

Preston North End today offered 21 year old midfielder Alan McCormack a new two-and-a-half year deal, his current contract was due to expire in the summer.....

On signing his new contract McCormack said "I'm delighted, its something that has been on my mind for the last couple of months now, particularly with the end of my contract coming up soon"

"The gaffer pulled me in last week and and told me he would like to offer me a new contract, I have been playing well and I have been quite confident so I am delighted to sign an extension with Preston".

McCormacks new deal with keep him at Preston till 2007...
