Preston travel to Upton Park this weekend to take on play-off rivals West Ham. Both teams will be hoping to put a bit of daylight between themselves and the chasing pack.

Todays clash see's 5th against 6th, Preston will be hoping for the same result as last year in this fixture, when running out 2-1 winners after goals from the now departed Fuller and Healy.

Preston also won this seasons clash at Deepdale again winning 2-1 with goals from O'Neil and Lewis.

Preston will be looking for all 3pts today, a win will see them open up a 5pt lead on todays opponents.

Team News

West Ham defender Anton Ferdinand misses out with a hamstring injury picked up against Leeds. Midfielder Mark Noble is also out with a hamstring injury but hopes to be back to face Reading on 12 March.

Chris Day is expected to continue in goal for Preston after joining on loan as cover for injured duo Gavin Ward and Andy Lonergan.

Ward is back in training after suffering concussion against Ipswich but it not yet ready to return.
