In a game which could have gone either way Preston came away with a welcome point but could have been much more......
A great start for
Seven minutes later though a Paul Ince's free kick wasn't dealt with and Jody Craddock found himself in space to fire across goal and past a furious Chris Day.
Before the beak
After the break
The break through finally came in the 53rd minute when Lewis was tripped in the box, leaving Alexander to fire home the penalty straight down the middle (probably a wise choice in the windy conditions).
Again two more fine chances came both from the left and both from Nugent the first he fired over the bar, and the second again superbly saved from Oakes. A great move again down the left saw Cresswell flick a header right across goal leaving Oakes finally stranded and helpless but it was inches wide.
Wolves' inspiration in this game had to be their pacey winger Ki-hyeon Seol who tore the midfield and defense up at times and put Wolves back on level terms beating Chris Day down to his right after 73 minutes. All this after a mouthy Kenny Miller missed a sitter moments earlier drilling the ball against the bar unmarked from 6 yards then firing over from even closer with Chris Day stranded.
With 15 minutes to go
