McKenna wins PFA award

Following on from Dave Nugents powerade player of the month award, influential midfielder Paul MaKenna has scooped the PFA's Fans Player of the Month Award for March after some superb displays.

It is just reward for a player who always give 100% when he pulls on the shirt. McKenna who reached the milestone of 300 games for North End in Tuesdays match against Brighton has been an influential player all season for North End.

McKenna picks up the award in the Championship whilst Chelsea's England international John Terry has been awarded the Premiership honour.

Blackpool's Keith Southern and Southend's Mark Bentley pick up the awards in League One and Two.
