Asaba Linked With Pompey Move

It is rumored that Portsmouth Football Club could make a offer for Carl Asaba.

The Pompey boss is ex Hammer Harry Rednapp who has been given millions to spend. He has already plashed out on ex West Ham players Hayden Foxe, Shaka Hislop and Todorov.

It is believed that Carl Asaba could be worth £500,000. Carl Asaba was bought by Neil Warnock for just £92,500 from Gillingham in March 2000.

The Southern Club came close to buying ex-Dingle Ashley Ward from Bradford City but sadly for them the deal fell through. The other day it was rumored that they would head straight for Fabrizio Ravinelli who plays for Derby County.

United however really need Carl Asaba, with Paul Peschisolido, Laurens Ten Heuvel not 100% fit, it only leaves Asaba and Wayne Allison fit and these two should start against Hornets on Saturday.
