No Go For Quinn

05/02/2003 - Sheffield United boss Neil Warnock says it is unlikely he will sign defender Wayne Quinn on a permanent basis.

The 26-year-old, who arrived at Bramall Lane in early January, agreed a two-month extension to his loan from Premiership outfit Newcastle United.

Warnock told www.sufc.co.uk: "We wouldn't be able to do anything unless we got in the Premiership. That's the only way we could afford him."
