Sheffield United striker Patrick Suffo has hit out after reportedly not been told about a court hearing after the head butting incident during the Battle of Bramall Lane.

Patrick Suffo was one of three players send off during a game against West Bromich Albion on 16 Match 2002 at Bramall Lane.

The football match was eventually abandoned as two players left the field injured, leaving The Blades with only six men on the field.

Suffo was sent away on loan to Spanish second division side Numancia and has already served a three match suspension after the incident.

The Cameroon international was fined £3,000 and another three match suspension by the English Football Association.

Patrick Suffo claims he did not know about the hearing and that Sheffield United Football Club should have contacted him to tell him about the hearing.
