Last night at 10:00pm Sheffield United Football Club announced their new Club Sponsor for the 2002/03 Football season.

DESUN will be the new sponsors of Sheffield United. The deal is said to be worth £500,000 for two years. The company is only five years old and are the 6th largest drinks company in China. Sheffield United supporter Susan Tham brokered the deal as she works as a agent for FIFA, she is also a agent for ex Blades striker Petr Katchouro who left United to join a club in China. The new look Blades shirt (as show below) will be available to buy from the club shop from Friday 19 July 2002.
