Burley Seeks New Club

Midfielder Adam Burley is still battling to avoid being left on the scrapheap after being released by United at the end of the season.

Burley was discarded after failing to make much an impact during three years as a professional.

The 21-year-old made just six appearances as a substitute and also had a spell on loan at Scarborough, who are managed by his mentor Russell Slade.

He came through the youth system at Bramall Lane under Slade's guidance and may be hoping to receive an offer from him to join Scarborough on a permanent basis.
