Aberdeen Chase D'Jaffo

Aberdeen want to make freed Sheffield United hitman Laurent D'Jaffo their second signing in 24 hours.

The Frenchman will get a one-year deal if he agrees personal terms and passes a medical at Pittodrie this morning.

Dons boss Ebbe Skovdahl failed with a £150,000 bid to take the ex-Ayr United striker to the Granite City last summer.

But D'Jaffo was released by Blades boss Neil Warnock at the end of the season .

Skovdahl's move came just hours after the Dons tied up a deal for Eric Deloumeaux.
