im bewildered by myring at full back....seems with no second team games other players don't get a look in.. or is it more than that

interesting-not sure about the balance of the side, will miss davies pace & left foot kicking and the back row looks potentially short of pace(nash/monroe) though i've never seen maree play.

I'm looking forward to the game today, but I agree with my brother, it seems an odd choice to play 2 players out of their positions.. Eg myring and cliffe.

One reason for our successes is the pace from the wings and fullback. Why oh why are we exchanging one of the pacier fullbacks in the league for arguably the slowest.]

I have never been a big fan of Myring but in fairness I may not have seen him at his peak. I do wonder though whether sometimes it is felt that certain players need to play for sponsorship reasons... For instance Luke is employed by Unipart (I believe)- major Cov sponsor, I wonder whether this is ever a factor - I do hope not but I guess possible... Maybe wildly out here but it always comes to mind... Alternatively, if he is as good as people have stated previously, are they just hoping to find a position without affecting the cliffie/james partnership that has worked well for a couple of games. This is more likely perhaps? Additionally, Davies has gone off mid second half in the last two home games so I wonder whether they see this as a time to rest given todays opposition

I think Luke is in as Barry is injured or at least being rested, also don't forget he played in the baba's game last week too. What I don't understand is playing Luke at FB and cliffie at centre. With Luke back in the team it would make sense to swap then back around.

Good under the high ball. Very dangerous when he joined the line in attack and scored a good try, but exposed by the really quick Tynedale wingers. Great to see him fit again.

Is it only myself and Nick that read the Bellylaff? Davies' exclusion was explained on Friday Here
