Morgan says Cov players need to stick with the game plan

Head coach Scott Morgan was unable to mask his frustration after Coventry’s 32-30 home defeat by Rosslyn Park in their opening game of the National League One season at Butts Park Arena.

The visitors played a man short for more than 50 minutes after a red card for centre Dante Mama, but were the better side throughout the game as Cov repeatedly gave the ball away and failed to make the most of their numerical advantage.

“It’s bitterly disappointing,” said Morgan. “It shouldn’t get easier than playing against 14 men, but when you make mistakes or kick badly, you just give the ball back – we didn’t keep it long enough to ask any questions of them.

“You’ve got to look after the ball. It’s precious and you can’t win without it.

"It’s much harder to defend with 14 men than to attack and, if you keep the ball, eventually you are going to find the space.

not good enough...happened too many times last season...coaches agreed it was an issue and at end of season said it would be addressed and then in preseason games said it had been sorted.
Quite clearly nothing changed over this time, regarding this issue.
So is it the personnel or the coaches or something else
