Morgan: 'We’re at bare bones so we’ve got to be happy with the win'.
Coventry's head coach Scott Morgan praised the commitment of his players after a hard-earned 15-11 win at Cinderford which lifted them into sixth place in the National One table.
Prop Andy Brown made his first appearance of the season which together with new loan players Ed Milne and James Fish means Cov have used 32 players in the first six games.
“I thought we made things a little bit difficult for ourselves at times, but you can’t get away from the attitude, desire and effort that the boys gave,” said Morgan.
“Overall. I’m delighted – it’s a win on the road, and to come down here and get another four points is a good result in our circumstances.
“I definitely think the right team won, I don’t think for one second there is any argument about that, I would just have liked to have not seen so many errors – some forced, but a large majority were unforced.
"It was a little bit of a mix and match, in the first half I felt we were dominant again but played in the wrong areas of the field, and we didn’t play the weather particularly well.
