Coventry are on their best winning run for 15 seasons after making it seven in a rowwith a 29-17 victory over Darlington Mowden Park at the Butts Park Arena to cement fourth place in National League One.
But after opening up a 26-pont lead by half-time, Cov struggled in the second half and collected three yellow cards which head coach Scott Morgan conceded was a point for concern.
“That first-half performance was by far the best we’ve played all season – no doubt about it,” said Morgan. “We were ruthless, and it was good quality stuff.
“But we have got to realise there is another team on the pitch, and when they go in at 29-3 down, you know they are going to come at you.
“You have just got to weather that storm and not put yourselves under unnecessary pressure.
