...after Ealing success.
Coventry head coach Scott Morgan says that victory over National League One leaders Ealing Trailfinders has given his players the belief that they can go on and secure promotion.
Cov trailed twice and survived two yellow cards before clinching a 32-26 win over their previously unbeaten rivals, extending their own winning sequence to nine games – the club’s longest unbeaten run in league rugby.
“It’s a massive step, and it gives us a real belief in what we are doing,” said Morgan.
“We know what we are capable of and, when you have to dig deep, you ask, ‘Do the boys truly believe that we can win this league?’ I think now that they do, and I think that belief goes a long way.
“I can’t speak highly enough of all the boys – everybody’s got their part to play, whether it’s putting their bodies on the line, scoring a try in the corner or running into brick walls.
