Teamwork and squad spirit has been the key factor in Coventry’s ten-match winning run according to flanker Sam Pailor.
The all-action No.6, a try-scorer in the 62-31 win over Fylde on Saturday, has been in outstanding form in recent weeks as Cov have continued to develop an all-round game and forced their way up the National League One table.
“It’s fantastic – the boys are going forward step by step and really playing as a team,” said Pailor, who is in his second season at the Butts Park Arena.
“We’re confident and we’re not making the same mistakes we’ve made in previous games.
“”We’ve got no individuals, that’s how it feels at the moment. Everyone has the same goal, everyone is doing their job selflessly and making the tries come in every part of the field.
“The boys are going out every week believing we will win and that we can win this league, and I think that’s a massive step as well. Even when we are getting tries put against us we are under the posts being positive, there is no negative chat – we know we can go and do something about it.”
