Interesting that Adam Canning is starting at full back. He played in one of the half back positions on Saturday against Chinnor.

Good to see Knox and McBurnie together in what looks an experimental team, as it should be during pre-season. Preece and Adam Parkins are there for the first time, but still no sign of JLR or Wolfesden.

Wolfenden and JLR are both on the injury list.

Looks like an interesting team, with lots of new players starting, presumably so we can see how they compete against a good cardiff team.
Interesting to see andy murray back- presumably as scrum half cover. And on that note, whos the starting scrum half?
Am a bit worroed about no8 position with jlr injured and would like to see sam givien a shot there.

Google tells me that the scrum half prviosly played at nottingham in some context.

Loti might surprise one or two people in that position (or so i'm told ;-) )

It would be nice if he does, we need to find a first choice 8. We saw last season what a difference a really good one makes with milne.

I wonder what happened to Luke J?

My records suggest otherwise.

Two start at 6, two at 7.

One replacement, on the chaos down at Ealing where he came on when Dcott Morgam went off. I am pretty sure that Damny went up from 6 to the second row, but in the chaos that followed with many replacements Loti could have found himself anywhere.

I think loti is quite capable of playing 8 time will tell what his best position really is.
