...away on Saturday 30th April 2016.
The Coventry Rugby team has just been announced that is away for the final game of the season at Wharfedale at their Threshfields ground this coming Saturday 30th April 2016 with kick off at 3pm. The team shows 3 changes including 1 positional one from the starting line-up that has such a fine home win last Saturday over Ampthill & District.
On the wing Ryan Hough replaces Peter Weightman, and in the second row Tom Poole comes in for Danny Wright. On the bench Joe Foreman replaces Andy Brown.
On a personal note not only is this the last team news of the season but it is my last one as I now intend to retire from such news items following my move down south 2 years ago, although at the request of the Coventry Rugby club I am happy to carry on with my weekly game previews and results round up. I would like to thank all Coventry Rugby players and the club’s officials for all the help they have given me over the years.

Should you really be retiring at 60 ?
As for the team - I find it strange that Peter Weightman has been dropped to the extent that he hasn't even made the bench - made even more puzzling by the fact that Scott Hamilton IS on the bench!
And Danny Wright has been dominant in the line-out in the last few games, yet he also has been dropped from the squad.
Unless Peter and Danny have injuries we appear to have another mysterious selection conundrum - which has been the story of the season.
