Rowland Winter has completed Cov’s first-team recruitment with another four players joining the club.
The new players are: Tom Wheatcroft, aged 27, a centre who joins us from Ealing Trailfinders. Prop forward Jimmy Litchfield, 24, arrives from London Scottish. Max Trimble, 24, a winger returning from the UAE where he played for Abu Dhabi Harlequins, and back row Olly Povoas (20), who signs from Leicester Tigers.
Fly-half Adam Canning and back row Liam Munro, both of whom are returning from long term injuries will also be training with the first team squad over the summer.

if thats it for recruitment i'm a little underwhelmed. i had hoped for a couple of quality/experienced players at 10 and 8 who would be natural leaders and run the game.

Apart from James Pritchard & Brendon Snyman? Two of the most experienced players in the squad.
I guess we will have to see how much the player-coaches are expected to play. Pritchard ended the season injured, so may be slow starting.

Has Pritchard been signed as a 10? He's been a 15 throughout his career.

Just seen a quote from the Canada coach last year where he describes him as "having the ability to play at 15 or 10", so I suppose it could be the plan with Cov.

Given Matt Price's liking for yellow cards I do think we are a hooker short, but I am happy the squad is completed early

Too true Mark.
Work is, as usual, in hand to ensure photos are taken to help with this, with rather more thought than in recent years to ensure good use is made of them.

I know the players photos are in the programmes, but I hope the club put the players photos and bio's on the website so we can learn more about them. I'm following a lot of the players on Twitter, so I might be able to get an idea of what the lads look like from their profile pics before we see them on the pitch.
