Final score today at the BPA was Coventry 7 - 28 Ealing Trailfinders.

Another tough pre-season game.  First-half defensive lapses were punished by the Championship club, with the score at the break being 21 - 7 in Ealing's favour.  Coventry put together some decent play of their own for the try, scored (I believe) by Trimble after good work from Wheatcroft and Burke.

The home side made a better fist of it after the break, pinning Ealing back for long periods, but were unable to add to their score.  Ealing however, added another converted try to make the final result Coventry 27 - 8 Ealing.

Not an ideal result, but again this is pre-season and a squad still finding their way together against a seasoned opposition from a higher level.  We'll have better days than this, I'm sure.
