The Restart: Part Two

AS PROMISED then, here's a further update on the status of the new input/editing/moderation team for the Unofficial Cov Rugby website and forum now that Russ has decided to step away and pursue different avenues.  From now on the updating of the site will be done on a three-way co-operative basis, as alluded to yesterday, with all policy-type decisions being taken on a unanimous consensus basis.

Fairly obviously, my fellow editors/moderators will be able – once up to speed with the arcane world of SportNetwork - to add content independently as they wish, but it will always be our aim to keep the front page updated at the very least every fourteen days to ensure continuity of availability of the forum feature of the website. This means that there may well be a slight slacking-off of frequency during fallow, off-season, periods as can probably be expected given the general paucity of information availability and the desire to avoid too much repetition and waffle 'just for the sake of it'. However, we will try to update weekly where possible, particularly covering matches with a few well-chosen (hopefully) words and photos, naturally enough.

Further, we can expect to see some interesting, more technical, not-so-much-playing-based, yet entertaining and informative articles from one of our new contributors, who goes by the nom-de-plume of Whistle Watcher.

Now I know many will already know and recognise this particular gentleman, but I'll leave it to him to formally introduce himself if he wishes to in his own time.

Our third wheel is another face familiar to many, having been associated with the club in various ways, and even ran the forum etc. way back in the early days of the century. He goes by the name of Nick M, and again, I'll let him introduce himself if and as he wishes.

Finally, I'll just wish both of them good luck with the always-interesting SN software, familiarity with which may take some little time!
