On to the Main Course Again

With the Championship Cup campaign having somewhat disappointingly fizzled out after the second set of group matches
attention once again returns to the league.
However, with this being a 'rest' weekend for some odd reason, the club have arranged a friendly at the BPA tonight, KO 7.30, versus a UK Armed Forces side.
Understandably, it is seen as an opportunity for some of the younger members of the club's playing squads to test themselves, and several names feature for the first time this season.
Entry to the ground is free, and a short article covering the game, by Paul Ingleston, will be added here tomorrow.

Excellent entertainment, but my long-running gripe about no programme (or even an A4 sheet with the teams on), came to the fore once again.
I look forward to a post, from someone with deeper knowledge of our Under 19's than I, to put names to faces (and positions).

Hi Ludlow Road
Considered putting the starting line-up in my report but couldn't be 100% sure of the names.
As a guide for you here is a mixture of knowledge/guesswork!
Starting XV: Tobi Wilson, David Opoku, ? , Ollie Betteridge, ?(Max Robinson?), Fin Ogden, Joe Snow, Ollie Stone, Owen Postlethwaite, Jack Hurst?, George Smith, Ray Kanyasa, George Hallam, Harry Stone, James Bennett.
Replacements (all used) Theo Mannion, Louis Dale, Christian Bannister, Ben Parsons, Chad Hastings.
Named on the teamsheet but I cannot say if they played or not were Jacob Steel, Tommy Herman and Miguel Alves.

I dont think we use the super duper scoreboard enough. Regular postings of both teams 15 would help with subs names alonside the ones they have replaced.

Together with putting it at the corner (Broomfield corner) so that a lot more people can actually see it.

Totally agree about the Scoreboard, HoboAl.
Perhaps a happy medium between the dying-out of printed Teamsheets, and few of the spectators knowing which of our upcoming 'stars' are playing where.
Kimbo - I did read the online version of the 'Programme', pre-match, but it just gave a list of the Squad, split into Forwards and Backs. Not who was starting, and their positions/shirt numbers.
Perhaps a happy medium between the dying-out of printed Teamsheets, and few of the spectators knowing which of our upcoming 'stars' are playing where.
