Academies: RFU Who?

As widely reported in various outlets
Coventry Rugby Football Club has gone into partnership with Coventry College to 'fill the void' after the passing of the two West Midlands-located Premiership outfits, and consequently their RFU Academies.

Those with slightly longer memories will recall the very successful Coventry RFC Henley College Academy, which was subsumed by the incoming Premiership franchise, somewhat controversially, so hopes will be high that this new venture involving the broader Coventry- based college will be equally, if not more, successful.

Interesting read and all positive for Cov.
A couple of questions have come into my head so please forgive me.
Could Cov buy the premiership share that Wasps and Worcester had and become a full academy.
How will this affect the partnership between Cov and Moulton College.
Can we get Warwick School on board they seem to produce players.
And final question could Cov get a academy team into either the national leagues or somewhere else, .

RFU took control of both Academies, rebranding them as Midlands Rugby Academy, Midlands Central West ( prev Worcester).and Midlands Central ( formerly Wasps) employing mainly ex-Wasps employees. So, none of the approx £400k budget would come to Coventry or any Championship team.
The partnership between Moulton College and Coventry ended in the summer on completion of the agreement. This is how the Coventry College tie-up has come about.
You will find that students from Warwick School are generally pointed the way of the Midlands Academy, previously, I believe, there was a strong connection with Worcester.
Regarding your last point, no. Don't believe this is possible.
Btw Gordon Ross is leading the Level 3 course and seems to be doing a fantastic job.
I look forward to seeing some prospects coming through in the future, if not for Cov then enjoying the game in the local area

My question is, Coventry Rugby seem to have had about three links with educational establishments in recent years. It is a good idea but needs continuity if they want credibility

Henley college was great for 16-19 bucs rugby, run by Pete Glackin the quality of the team shone through. They ran a BTEC including Rugby and produced a huge number of players who went on to university teams and clubs. They had a gym, fitness and Therapy room and a big sports field available to train on. To close the college in favour of the below standard city college was almost an act of vandalism. Wasps ruined what had been built over a decade imho.
I hope this relationship can repair some of the damage, but the new coventry college falls well short of what we lost at Henley. How do I know this ? My son went through the Henley system and on to university. All thanks to the inclusiveness he was shown by the college, rugby squad and Pete Glackin.
