After weeks, possibly months of speculation season 2025/2026 moved a little closer into focus with the noon release of the fixtures today. (Awaiting the usual suspects).
Presume the anti WW brigade will boycott the game……
My choice is not to go the HQ anymore, I do not want the RFU getting a penny from me, I will just leave that there because many others pay them handsomely.
I accept others will have a different view but I'm happy with my choice.
They couldn't have been given Caldy away could they?

The franchise club should not be there.

Coventry have a tough first 4 games!
Because Coventry fans and club have been vocal against Sweeney and his shi(t) show in allowing franchise rugby to take over our sport.
Sweeney fixed it for Wuss and against Cov.

Don't worry, I won't be engaging - I just thought it was very funny.

For me the Chump Rugby season starts on 11th October and ends on 2nd May.
I accept others will have a different view but I'm happy with my choice.
Fully Agree

As it happens, Worcester specifically requested that the Coventry game was not the first game at Sixways. This request was denied by Champ rugby. The opening home game is an obvious opportunity to target a full-house. As the Coventry home game is the most likely fixture to be a sell-out wherever it is played in the season, the club wanted the opportunity to play someone else first up.
Whatever the view of Coventry supporters, many Warriors fans have a soft-spot for your club. Indeed many became STHs at the BPA while we had no home club to support. Many more have long seen Coventry as a "second club", a feeling reinforced by the encroachment by Wasps on your patch.
I am saddened by the attitude of the vocal few from both clubs and would like to reach out to those who have vetoed a day out at Sixways - if you do change your minds then please come along to the Supporters Trust cabin in the NE corner & have a chat before the game. You will be made most welcome.
We aren't the people who sent our club into administration. We aren't the rule-makers at the RFU. We aren't the short-sighted bosses of PRL. We are merely supporters, just like you.

Still find it amusing the concept that the fixtures are designed to harm clubs with tough openings etc. By definition youll have a far easier run at some point in the season when youre rivals are playing their harder fixtures.
