After weeks, possibly months of speculation season 2025/2026 moved a little closer into focus with the noon release of the fixtures today.  I have to say it was impressive that all of the clubs kept to the embargoed release time.   Unity?  Anyway, here are Cov's. Yes we will not be going we are allowed our choice it's nothing personal against Worcester it's more showing solidarity with all clubs who through blood sweat and tears got promoted to the Championship. And also a certain Mr H who is one of your owners or backers was part of the Wasps cartel how the hell can a true Coventry born and bred supporter be expected to give his NEW club money. When they left a trail of devistation and appalling amount of debt. I'm leaving my soap box now an interesting first fixture the result will be eagley awaited by the whole league. Cov to start with a shock win anyone ????

Some interesting comments, personally, I will be there to support my club, the biggest culprit here is the RFU who have allowed them to get away with it.
My choice is not to go the HQ anymore, I do not want the RFU getting a penny from me, I will just leave that there because many others pay them handsomely.

For me the Chump Rugby season starts on 11th October and ends on 2nd May.

I accept others will have a different view but I'm happy with my choice.

Anyone believe the Worcester game wasn't anything other than a fixture fit up to get Wuss off to a flying start with a "big" local game to top up their emptying coffers.
They couldn't have been given Caldy away could they?

Won't be there for either Wuss game.
The franchise club should not be there.

Only one home fixture clash with Sky Blues before Christmas which is on Saturday 25 October. Cov home to Ealing, Sky Blues home to Watford. Both scheduled to be 3:00pm ko's. Sky Blues also away on New Years Day. Haven't looked at the second half/2026 because it states subject to change.

Coventry have a tough first 4 games!

Because Coventry fans and club have been vocal against Sweeney and his shi(t) show in allowing franchise rugby to take over our sport.
Sweeney fixed it for Wuss and against Cov.

Don't worry, I won't be engaging - I just thought it was very funny.

As it happens, Worcester specifically requested that the Coventry game was not the first game at Sixways. This request was denied by Champ rugby. The opening home game is an obvious opportunity to target a full-house. As the Coventry home game is the most likely fixture to be a sell-out wherever it is played in the season, the club wanted the opportunity to play someone else first up.

Whatever the view of Coventry supporters, many Warriors fans have a soft-spot for your club. Indeed many became STHs at the BPA while we had no home club to support. Many more have long seen Coventry as a "second club", a feeling reinforced by the encroachment by Wasps on your patch.
I am saddened by the attitude of the vocal few from both clubs and would like to reach out to those who have vetoed a day out at Sixways - if you do change your minds then please come along to the Supporters Trust cabin in the NE corner & have a chat before the game. You will be made most welcome.

We aren't the people who sent our club into administration. We aren't the rule-makers at the RFU. We aren't the short-sighted bosses of PRL. We are merely supporters, just like you.

Still find it amusing the concept that the fixtures are designed to harm clubs with tough openings etc. By definition youll have a far easier run at some point in the season when youre rivals are playing their harder fixtures.

Quite - and as far as I'm concerned, this is the best time to play Wuss at their gaff.

The Sky Blues game against Watford on 25th. October has been moved to 12.30pm, which means that there are now no clashes between Sky Blues and Cov's home games in the "regular seasons" (subject to any later changes) - although I may need help climbing to row P when I arrive at The Butts

I know that there are people on here who are dead against attending the game at Worcester, but for those who are looking to attend, if you haven't already got a ticket there are only two seats left, but a few standing tickets have just been released.
