Ofodile goes back to Germany.

Adolf Ofodile, was one of the signings that contributed to the sacking of Ray Graydon. Reports this morning say he has signed for a German Second Division Club.
Planet Football that Adolphus Ofodile has signed for German outfit St Pauli. St Pauli play in the second tier of German football.
Adolf spent a miserable twelve months in the Saddlers reserves where he failed to make an impact. When he signed, fans had high expectations after he had the "Jorge" treatment during a pre-season tour of Scotland which involved him being subbed after an impressive performance, so not to attract the interest of other clubs.
Weather he was not strong enough, or couldn't settle, it became evident by Christmas that Walsall and Adolf had made a mistake. He frequently left the country to visit his family in Belgium when he was not playing and became content with picking up his wages at the end of the month.
Being in his early 20's some fans hoped he would be one for the future, but with other young forwards like Hawley and Birch and a Bishop sticking them away in the reserves (and being on less money) it appeared Adolfs days were numbered.
At one stage is seemed like Adolf was going to join Joe Kinnear at Luton Town on loan, but that deal broke down when there was a disagreement about how much of his wages would be paid by Walsall.
Colin Lee let him go in the summer, and he has since been a free agent and unable to secure a deal in England, but it would be likely he wanted a move a back to Germany, or Belgium. Either Way, Adolf was something of an enigma at Bescot, and who knows if he will follow in the footsteps of Butler, Byfield Platt and Ricketts and prove he is able to score regularly, while not in our colors.
