New Feature For the Site - Player of the Month

We have decided to start producing our nominations for a player of the month award. I am hoping that this will become a regular feature and lead to the awarding of a "thesaddlersfc.tk" Player of the Season award. Sponsors for a trophy are welcome!

September was a difficult month over which to make a decision, starting as it did with the disaster of four League defeats on the trot, but it certainly finished on a high with the win at Forest.

Darren Bazeley showed every sign of becoming the new "Mr Consistency", Hay looked every inch the player Leeds payed a lot of money for, Simpson and O'Connor were an inspiration and Jorge got back on the goal trail, looking very dangerous in the process.
Special mentions too, for David Zdrilic, who gave us signs that he will become a quality player and the two who improved so much over the month, Wrack and Aranalde.

However, having taked sounding from as many people as possible, the vote this month has to go to a man who was out of the side at the begining of September, but looking a rock at the end of it. The Saddlersfc player of the month for September goes to:-
