Hartlepool 1-2 Kidderminster On loan Saddlers forward Andy Bishop made the starting XI for the Harriers yesterday, when they played table topping Hartlepool United. Unfortunately Bishop didn't get on the score sheet, but it is all valuable experience for the Saddlers youngster,
Colchester 0-0 Plymouth - Tony Barras made his first start for Division 2 new boys Plymouth as they were held to a 0-0 dray at Layer Road.
Rushden 2-1 Bristol Rovers - Paul Hall has helped heap more pressure on Ray Graydons Bristol Rovers Side with the winner in yesterdays third division clash. Hall netted the winner with 25 minutes of time left, condemning Rovers to their 1th1 defeat in 20 league games.

- Hull City 0-0 Wrexham - Dean Keates started in Midfield for Hull City -
- Cambridge 3-0 Macclesfield Town - Kyle Lightbourne Failed to get on the score sheet for Macclesfield Town -
- Torquay 2-2 Rochdale - Boss Paul Simpson saw his side draw 2-2 with this weekend, while forward Clive Platt also featured.
Division 2.
- Wigan 1-0 Northampton - Former Saddlers Keeper Lee Harper was unable to keep a clean sheet against Division 2 big boys Wigan at the JJB.
- QPR 0-4 Cardiff City -Brett Angell made his QPR debut in the 4-0 mauling by Cardiff.
- Port Vale 4-2 Mansfield -Matt Gadsby played in the back 3 for Mansfield, while Ian Brightwell continued his run in the Vale defence.
- Stockport 2-1 Wycombe - Andy Rammel partnered former Barnet forward Shaun Devine as Wycombe crashed away at Edgely Park
Division 1.
- Brighton 0-1 Reading -Martin Butler had to settle for a sub appearance in Readings 1 goal win over struggling Brighton.
- Milwall 1-0 Bradford City - Gus Uhlenbeek featured in the Bantams defeat at the New Den.
