Hay to miss crucial games?

With New Zealand arranging international friendlies in the new year, the Saddlers may have to do without influential Danny Hay during the end of season run-in.

	As well as arranging an international friendly with Scotland on 27th May 2003, New Zealand have agreed to play Iran twice in quick succession also. The matches against Iran will take place on 28th March (home) and 4th April (away). While all Saddlers fans would love to see Danny Hay lining up against the Scots, it would be a totally different reaction if he were called up to face Iran. For as well as the extensive travel, Hay would miss our home games against Coventry City and Portsmouth in what could be a crucial end of season run-in.
