Lee Makes His Move!

Colin Lee was as good as his word today, as he made a bid for the services of the former £2,000,000 Wimbledon winger, Gareth Ainsworth.

The Express & Star was reporting tonight that Colin Lee has made the first move in the rebuilding of the side with a bid for the services of Gareth Ainsworth.

The Wimbledon winger, who cost them £2,000,000 from Port Vale only two years ago, has impressed on his four week loan at the Saddlers and Colin lee has made no secret of his desire to sign him for a longer period.

This seemed to have been scuppered by Wimbledon moving the goal posts in asking for a fee, but the Express & Star is reporting tonight that Walsall have now made an offer for the player. We cab hope that this is another sign of the club wanting to move forward in its desire to become an established team at this level.
