Walsall FA Cup Tickets

It's possibly the worst draw Walsall could have got, no big team and no home tie. It will be a trip to in form Sheffield United in Round 5 and the club have announced ticket arrangements and cheap travel.

This was certainly what no one wanted, the form team in the Division in an away tie. Walsall have, however, announced cheap travel arrangments, in order to boost the travelling support as much as possible.

The game is at Bramall Lane on Saturday, February 15th (kick-off 3.00pm) and we have been allocated 5,200 seat tickets for the tie.
Ticket prices are £14.00 (adults) and £7.00 (juniors and senior citizens).
They'll go on sale from 9.00am on Thursday, January 30th at the Bescot Stadium Ticket Office and The Football Shop in Walsall Town Centre to season-ticket holders - on production of Voucher G from your season-ticket booklet - and those supporters able to produce a ticket stub from last Saturday's FA Cup fourth round tie with Wimbledon, up to 3.00pm on Saturday, February 1st.
The Bescot Stadium Ticket Office will be open after this Saturday's League match against Brighton for the general sale of tickets.
Remaining tickets will then be available for general purchase throughout next week.

Roy Whalley also said the club will be organising cut-price travel to the game.
"This is another big day for the club," he said on the official site. "It is the chance for us to get through to the FA Cup sixth round for the first time in our history and we want as many Saddlers supporters there as possible to help us do it. The club are therefore offering coach travel to Sheffield for just £10.00 per person and we will make arrangements for as many coaches as are needed."
Bookings for the Walsall FC Away Travel Service can be made from Bescot Stadium and The Football Shop in Walsall Town Centre. Coaches will depart Bescot Stadium at 11.30am on the day.

Colin Lee was taking a positive line yesterday, saying that we do have a good record against Sheffield United and he was hopeful of still making progress, in his attempt to bring more recognition to the club. Our recent record at the ground is encouraging, having won there last season and getting a draw this. Walsall's draw there was one of their poorer home performances, however.

Neil Warnock's reaction was to say that, although fans in Sheffield were getting a little carried away by Cup fever lately, following their semi final against Liverpool, his and the club's priority was still the League.

Word from Blades fans seems to suggest the we can expect a gate of around 20,000, which is better than it might have been, although even Burnley away would probably have been a bigger crowd.
