Over the past few weeks Colin Lee has been linked with a number of different players, but the newspapers are now reporting that their a three distinct players Lee has his eye on.

Bob Taylor Taylor has been dogged with injury problems this season, and with Dichio, Dobie, Roberts and Hughes all ahead of him in the pecking order he is a valid target. Considering we lack a consistent scorer at this level, Bob could do a job. The Evening Mail have linked us with the Veteran goal poacher, but the only thing detracting from this story is Bob's age, especially when Lee has stated he is keener to sign younger players. Vinny Samways This evenings Express and Star brings this story saying that Vinny Samways will certainly be Lee's second signing of the week. It is hoped that the 34 year old midfielder who was a firm favorite with Las Palmas fans will add some much needed creativity to the Saddlers midfielder, and has a reputation for being a great striker of the ball. It seemed that the former Spurs, Everton and Wolves man had secured a move to Cordoba in the Spanish Second Division, but this deal fell through leaving a move back home as a possibility. Having spent nearly 7 years with Las Palmas in the Spanish Second Division (for much of the time) and the first half of this season playing for newly promoted Seville (where he has only made 10 appearances) Samways will be eager to impress back in his homeland. Michael Branch At one time hailed as the Blue Michael Owen, Branch has done what many players have done once they have move to Molinuex, and died a slow death in their Golden Graveyard. Many regarded him as a talent for the future, but the expectations of unrealistic Wolverhampton faithful has proved to eb too much for the former Everton startlet. Since leaving Everton Branch has featured for Birmingham, Wolves, Reading and Hull (with only the Wolves deal being permanent). His spell at Hull City yielded 3 goals in 7 appearances, and many Saddlers fans believe he could bring some much needed pace and movement to our forward line.
