It's the February Player of the Month Time!

It won't be an easy decision for the February Player of the Month. Unfortunately, that isn't because of the number of outstanding performances.

It was a month which contained two abject surrenders - in the Cup at Sheffield United and, worse still, in the League at Sjoke City.

At times like this, you have to look at consistency and, for me two players stand out.

Ian Roper has already been given this accolade this season and looks like being one of the firm favourites for the Player of the Season award. He was in my thoughts this month.

However, I think that, for his performance in keeping the score to a reasonable level at Sjoke, for being one of the very few to come out of the Sheffield United fiasco with anything of his reputation intact, for a good save in keeping the score at 1 - 0 against Watford, enabling us to go on to win the game, and for some good saves in the away win at Bradford, this month, my vote foes to:-
