Walsall travel to Palace looking to make amends for last week's drubbing at Preston. Colin Lee has promised changes as the Saddlers attempt to gain only their fourth away victory in the League this eason.

After Tuesday’s dismal defeat at Preston, Colin Lee has promised to ring the changes. Ian Roper should return after completing his two game ban as should Darren Wrack who has recovered from illness. There could also be recalls for on loan duo Carl Robinson and Chris Shuker – whose loan spell ends after Saturday. David Zdrilic and Danny Sonner could also be considered whilst youngsters Gary Birch and Mark Wright surely deserve a chance after impressing for the reserves.

Palace team news

Andy Johnson (hamstring) and Noel Whelan (foot) are definitely out as is Hayden Mullins who is suspended. Dele Adebola (groin), Steve Thomson (calf), Tony Popovic (groin) and Darren Powell (leg) are all doubtful however Jamie Smith may return.

Walsall will be looking for victory to halt relegation fears after Tuesday’s dismal defeat at Preston. Trevor Francis’ side lack consistency but will probably be too strong for Colin Lee’s travel sick Saddlers.
