Lee's Contract Challenge

Colin Lee has thrown down a challenge to the Walsall players out of contract in the summer to win two more games before talks start.

With almost half of the squad out of contract in the summer, Colin Lee has told the Walsall team that he is not prepared to talk contracts yet.

Despite having said before that he prefers the stability of deciding these things early, he has told the players concerned that he will not open negotiations until he's sure of our League position and that will take two more wins.

In the current financial climate in football, players will want the security of a new contract as soon as possible, so now they have the incentive to get those two wins as soon as possible.
