Danny Sonner Has left The Club - Update

The club have now officially announced that Danny Sonner has had his contract paid up and has left the club, as we were reporting earlier.
Fans were wondering following the "throwing the shirt into the crowd" incident at the end of Saturday's game, but Danny Sonner's contract has been paid up.
This news will disappoint many Walsall fans, as he was a contender for Man of the Match against Porstmouth and the partnership with Samways looked useful.
In a statement, Colin Lee said that this was a "cost cutting" measure, due to the amount of cover we have now in midfield. However, it will mean a huge reorganisation in the Summer, with Sonner, Samways and Robinson gone and O'Connor, Mattias and Simpson out of contract.
Sonner himself has also revealed that he was offered the pay off on transfer deadline day, but wanted time to think it over.
Stoke were reputedly interested in before the transfer deadline, but, thankfully, the transfer window has passed.
