It is hard to separate either team as they have both had successful seasons and deserve the chance to test themselves against premiership opposition every week. So who do you think will get promoted?
Sheffield United have had phenomenal success in the cup competitions this year and have proven to be a match for anyone. They are a hard working close-knit team that play to their strengths. They are physical and direct, have some highly talented players throughout the team, and come up with the goods when the pressure is on. In Brown, Tonge, Kabba, Ndlovu and Asaba they have great goal scoring outlets and they have notched up 60 goals between them this season. Add to this Neil Warnock's impressive playoff history, can United really fail to win?
Wolves have been in the playoff hunt for many years now, mainly thanks to Sir Jack Hayward’s financial investment. Dave Jones has transformed the team after a slow start to the season and have become difficult to beat. They have a solid back line and defend well as a team. Going forward they have goal scoring talent in abundance. Miller, Ndah, Blake and Sturridge have scored 57 goals between them this season. They have the experience of Paul Ince and Dennis Irwin to guide the team through the nerves and to get the best of the players at their disposal. Can Wolves really lose out again?
My money is on Wolves as I feel their time has come and they have the experience to help on the day. Saying that, I would not be at all surprised if United turned them over.
