Ainsworth Bescot Bound?

According to The Times online, Gareth Ainsworth has been released by Cardiff City. The news is certain to alert Colin Lee who is desperate to bring him to Walsall.

The signing of Ainsworth would be just the lift all Walsall fans are looking for. Next season promised to be incredibly tough due to budgets being tightened and the teams relegated from the Premiership and promoted from division 2 are of a high quality.

Concerns will be raised as to whether Lee can afford Ainsworth, but with some many players out of contract it is likely he will accept a deal.
