The Experience   by 4two

Burnley is a "real" football ground. I have watched the Saddlers there before and after its redevelopment, and have to say it is one of the most enjoyable away days. Managed to get served in the Cricket Club, which is just behind the away end. It is a very friendly place to visit, and the home fans really create a great atmosphere.

Player Links

Colin Anderson, Louis Donowa and John Gayle had brief spells with us in the 1990s. Andy Saville led our front line in the late 1980s, and also appeared in the claret and blue of Burnley. Liam O'Neill, Dennis Peacock and David Wilson also played for both clubs, while the recently departed Gavin Ward also did the same.
