Martin O'Connor is considering a move to another former a club. A move which last time around earned him the nickname Judas.
Martin O'Connor has been offered a deal by former club Peterbourgh United. O'Connor left the Saddlers for the Posh back in July 96'
O'Connor controversially left the Saddlers to join Barry Fry at Peterbourgh in 1996. . The player only spent 4 months at Boro before Birmingham forked out half a million pounds for him.
Birmingham City boss Steve Bruce allowed him to join the Saddlers in late 2002, where he helped the Saddlers survive in Division 1. He was in and out of the first team last season, with injuries and suspension hindering his progress. Walsall boss Colin Lee obviously felt he could not afford to carry a player of Martins age, who is prone to injuries.
