Lee to swoop for another old boy......

Reports in Yorkshire suggest Lee is about to swoop for another old boy. The player wore a golden shirt last season, but has played for the Saddlers before.

Reports in Yorkshire are linking the Saddlers with a move for Gus Uhlenbeek.

Uhlenbeek played 5 games for the Saddlers at the end of the 2001/2002 season, and then moved on to Bradford City after he was released by Sheffield United. 

The  Telegraph and Argus  are saying he was offered a deal worth £1500 a week, but has chosen to train with Sheffield United and look for a deal else where. There are no quotes from the player, Nicky Law or Colin Lee, but it seems unlikely that the Saddlers would match Bradford's offer. 

The Saddlers already have a competent right back in Darren Bazeley, but with Bazeley being able to play as a central midfielder,  and us being light in that position at the moment we cannot right this story off as being pure speculation.
