Merson not interested in other offers.

In today's Merson news, it appears the player is not interested in offers from any other clubs, while Pompey supremo Mandaric is willing to help Merse get the deal he wants.

Colin Lee today said that other clubs had shown an interest in want away Paul Merson

"There have been many clubs that have been interested, but he is keen to join us because of our early interest and because of what we've presented to him"

The main worry Walsall fans have is that a club like Forest or Derby could hijack any potential deal and take Merson away from the Saddlers. From what Lee has said today it seems that Walsall are the only club Merson would consider.

The Portsmouth chairman has spoken today...

"Merse has said he's not happy and he wants to get away and go to Walsall. He's been such a good servant to the club that we will help him out and help pay for the deal if that's what he wants."

Mandaric will let him go, Redknapp won't stand in his way, Lee wants him, the fans want him. When is he arriving?
