Saddlers trash Oxford

The Saddlers ran out 4-1 winners against a strong Oxford United side at Lilleshall.

Walsall have beaten Oxford United 4-1 in a behind closed door freindly at Lilleshall. The only news of the game can be found on oufc.co.uk (Their official site) and  mentions no news regarding the Saddlers.

It seems the Saddlers put out a strong side in a match that contained three 30 minute periods, a method commonly used in the Summer because of the testing conditions.

The report says Oxford were poor at the back in a game where the conditions took a lot out of the players.
